Snow-white landscapes, mountains towering into the sky and cosy places to stop for a bite to eat. The Tyrolean region around Bad Häring is the perfect place for winter activities.

Skiing

Adventures
on the slopes

Feel the wind on your face and your body moving in harmony as you ski down the slope.

In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental, you can look forward to over 270 kilometres of slopes, breathtaking views of more than 70 surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks, 80 cosy, family-run huts and much more.

Austria’s largest night skiing area is also located here. In winter, the Wilder Kaiser municipality of Söll transforms day and night into a white winter wonderland at the foot of the Hohe Salve. Experience a truly special atmosphere here on a night-time run.

Cross-country skiing

Right through
the white landscape

Enjoy the snow-covered winter landscape on cross-country skis.

You can set off straight from Bad Häring and immerse yourself in a winter wonderland. The rhythmic movements will keep you warm whilst you enjoy the view. Clear your mind as you cross-country ski and let the snow-white surroundings inspire you.

For example, you can also ski along the 2 km BH3 Sprint Trail, which is floodlit, even after dark. Or explore the surrounding countryside on the 5.9 km BH4 Panorama Trail.

Ski touring

Ascent &
descent

Then be the first to leave your tracks on a pristine descent. In Tyrol, you’ll find numerous ski touring areas offering challenging ascents and action-packed descents, ranging from easy to difficult. Find the right tour for you and get ready for some winter fun!

Our tips for the Kufsteinerland region include, for example, the Brentenjoch tour, which, at 3 km in length and 743 metres of elevation gain, is one of the easier options. A slightly more demanding tour is the Pyramidenspitze, which is 4 km long with a 1,142-metre elevation gain. For anyone looking for a particular challenge, the Trainsjoch tour is recommended, covering 3.2 km with an 850-metre elevation gain.

Enjoy the panoramic view once you’ve reached the summit and take a deep breath.

Toboggan runs

At breakneck speed through
the snow

Sledging is a brilliant way to combine exercise and fun. Discover the natural toboggan runs in the region. Every climb is worth it for the thrilling descent that follows. Hold on tight, feel the speed and let yourself slide into the snow.

Why not take a trip to the Aschinger-Alm natural toboggan run, for example? With its gentle gradient, it is a popular toboggan run for young and old alike. The Kala Alm natural toboggan run in Thiersee also offers an exciting descent in the evening, with plenty of floodlit bends. Toboggan hire is available on site at both runs.

Jump on the sledge and set off on a snowy adventure.

Winter walking & snowshoeing

Explore the winter on foot

As you make your way through the countryside, you can feel your footsteps leaving tracks in the snow, breathe in the fresh air and take your mind off things. Let the snowy landscape work its magic on you and inspire you. Here in Tyrol, you’ll find beautiful hiking trails and snowshoe routes.

The Bad Häring Panorama Cross-Country Trail, for example, is also ideal as a hiking route. You can also explore the wintery Kaisertal valley here or go on a winter hike with views of Scheffau. With snowshoes on your feet, we recommend, among other things, a hike around the Schattberg or the Thiersee evening hike.

Exploring the snow-covered landscape on foot is a truly memorable experience.
